How amazing that we have received this gift! What’s even more is that we have the ability to share the peace of the Lord with others. Reach out by phone, email, social media. Even better, write a letter to let someone know that you are praying for them!

The book of Hebrews was written believed to be written by the Apostle Paul. Regardless of he authorship debate, what we do know is that is was a impassioned believer asking Christians to hold strong to their faith. That message still rings true today, in this time of fear and uncertainty.

Peter saw the suffering of his Christian family and wrote these verses of encouragement. Even when we have no control over our environment or events, we still have the ability to go to God in prayer. Share you burden with him!
Bible Verses for Courage
When I am afraid, I put my trust in you.Psalm 56:3
King David is famous for his victory over the giant, Goliath. You’d think with a win like that, he’d never suffer from a bout of fear again! And yet, he found himself in many battles. He was often afraid. No matter our conflict, we know who we can trust in times of trouble!
When hard pressed, I cried to the Lord; he brought me into a spacious place.6 The Lord is with me; I will not be afraid. What can mere mortals do to me?Psalm 118:5-6
A spacious place sounds wonderful! Psalm 118 is a psalm of thanksgiving. It’s also a reminder that God will cares for us and will deliver us from all the difficulties we experience in our time on this Earth.

Have you ever received an encouraging note from a friend? Paul wrote to his friends in Phillipi to give them strength in their struggles. May you feel the same peace as well!

We can’t always make sense of things. Bad things happen to good people. Wrong things are not always made right. When we can’t make sense of things, it’s time to use our hearts and not our heads. God has a plan for you!

2 Consider it pure joy, my brothers and sisters, whenever you face trials of many kinds, 3 because you know that the testing of your faith produces perseverance.James 1:2-3
It’s not easy to find joy when we are suffering. Aft the passing of time, we can look back upon those times and see how it has made us stronger. James wrote to struggling believers to remind them that God word can sustain us no matter the circumstances!
And we know that in all things God works for the good of those who love him, who have been called according to his purpose.Romans 8:28
The world is not perfect but our God is good. He can also use the most dire situation for good in our lives as well.
